The Heritage Urn is turned by hand on the lathe from solid hardwood, one piece at a time.
The shoulder rises into a softly rolled rim, and a fitted lid is crowned with a hand-turned finial, chosen for the way its heartwood and sapwood swirl together. Each surface is sanded through fine grits and finished to a deep, glass-like luster. The finish brings out the full depth of the grain and protects the piece for decades.
No two Heritage Urns are alike. The grain in the band is unique to the tree it came from, so the urn you receive is one of a kind, just like the life it honors.
It isn't made on a production line, and it isn't veneer over particleboard. It's solid hardwood shaped by hand into something worthy of a place on the mantel.
